eelbrain.shuffled_index(n, cells=None)

Return an index to shuffle a data-object

Parameters

  • n (int) – Number of cases in the index.

  • cells (categorial) – Only shuffle cases within cells.

Returns

index – Array with in indexes for shuffling a data-object.

Return type

array of int

Notes

If cells is not specified, this is equivalent to numpy.random.permutation(n).
