Dataset.get_subsets_by(self, x, exclude=(), name='{name}[{cell}]')

Split the Dataset by the cells of x

Parameters:

x : categorial

Model defining cells into which to split the dataset.

exclude : sequence of str

Cells of x which should be ignored.

name : str

Name for the new datasets (formatted with self.name and cell).

Returns:

sub_datasets : dict

{cell: sub_dataset} dictionary.
