eelbrain.gui.select_channels

eelbrain.gui.select_channels(raw, path, events=None, t_column=None, sysname=None, adjacency=None, decim=None, pos=None, size=None)[source]

GUI for selecting bad channels in continuous M/EEG recordings

Parameters:
  • raw (BaseRaw) – MNE Raw object to visualize (must have sensor position info / montage).

  • path (Path | str) – Path to the BIDS *_channels.tsv file that records channel status. Bad channels already marked in the file are highlighted on open. The file is updated when the user saves (Cmd/Ctrl-S).

  • events (Dataset) – Optional Dataset describing events in the recording. A 'duration' column (seconds) causes events to be shown as filled rectangles instead of vertical lines. Any Factor columns can be selected in the toolbar to color-code events.

  • t_column (str) – Name of the column in events holding event onset times in seconds from the start of the recording. None (default) tries 'onset' first (BIDS standard), then 'time'.

  • sysname (str) – Sensor system name for adjacency lookup (see eelbrain.load.mne.sensor_dim()).

  • adjacency – Sensor adjacency specification (see eelbrain.load.mne.sensor_dim()).

  • decim (int) – Decimation factor for the downsampled NDVar used in neighbor-correlation computation. None (default) picks a value targeting a sample rate of at least 3× the low-pass cutoff (≥ 100 Hz), falling back to 200 Hz if no low-pass filter has been applied.

  • pos (tuple[int, int]) – Window position on screen. None restores the last session.

  • size (tuple[int, int]) – Window size on screen. None restores the last session.

Returns:

frame – The GUI window (also kept alive by the wx event loop).

Return type:

Frame
